Vishal Patel

Vishal Patel has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Vishal started their career as a Software Developer at Siemens and then moved on to work as a Software Developer II at Supra Telecom. In these roles, they developed various applications and reports to measure financial and operational performance.

In 2007, Patel joined Pediatrix Medical Group as a Software Developer III. Vishal led a team in developing a billing and collection application for anesthesia specialty and converted the organization's physician billing system to a more efficient architecture.

Patel then joined American Anesthesiology in 2010 as the Manager of Application Development. Vishal set up the IT infrastructure for the company's expansion into anesthesia practice management services and performed due diligence for acquisitions.

In 2013, Patel became the Director of Application Development at American Anesthesiology. Vishal built IT teams and integrated assets from acquisitions while ensuring compliance with regulations.

From 2015 to 2017, Patel worked at MEDNAX, Health Solutions Partner as the Director of Systems Analysis and Architecture. Vishal established a new group and oversaw software development and solution delivery across functional teams while aligning IT strategies with business objectives.

Most recently, Patel has been working at Convey Health Solutions since 2017 as the Vice President of Applications Development, Product Management & Engineering. Vishal leads various technology teams in designing and delivering technology solutions for healthcare plans, manages product roadmaps, and provides project management services.

Throughout their career, Patel has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on aligning technology with business goals.

Vishal Patel completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued graduate studies in Computer Engineering at Florida Atlantic University between 2003 and 2008. Vishal obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same university from 1998 to 2000.
