Carolyn Parent is the CEO of Conveyer, a venture-backed AI security company. Carolyn is also a member of the board of directors for the Northern Virginia Technology Council and ShopAdvisor, Inc.

Carolyn has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including as an entrepreneur-in-residence at HearstLab, a unique greenhouse for investing and nurturing early-stage, women-led startups that innovate across media, business information and technology disciplines. Carolyn also served as the vice chair of the Northern Virginia Regional Council for GO Virginia, a state-level initiative to create more higher paying jobs through incentivized collaboration.

Most recently, Carolyn was the CEO and President of LiveSafe, a mobile safety platform that was acquired by Vector Solutions in 2021. Under their leadership, LiveSafe grew to become one of the most widely used safety and security apps in the world, with over 20 million users in over 500 organizations.

Carolyn Parent has a BA in English from Villanova University. Carolyn is also a member of Mindshare, an invitation-only network of CEOs from emerging, high growth tech companies in the DC region. In addition, they are a member of The Leadership Foundry, a women in technology program to prepare women to serve on corporate boards.
