Penny Smith

Penny Smith is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in the hospitality, healthcare technology, and restaurant industries. As Chief Financial Officer of Convive Brands, which operates over 50 health-focused restaurants, Penny led financial planning and analysis, accounting, and IT functions, while overseeing the transition to new ERP systems. Previously, Penny served as Chief Financial Officer at ValueHealth LLC, focusing on value-based care in specialty surgical services, and held senior financial leadership roles at NPC International, where responsibilities included M&A activities and strategic execution for a $700 million Wendy’s operation. Earlier career experience includes positions at KPMG as a Senior Associate. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from the University of Kansas and a B.S. in Accounting from Truman State University.
