Heather Garafola

Heather Garafola has worked in the field of deaf education since 2013. Heather began their career as a Teacher Assistant at Cleary School for the Deaf. In 2018, they moved to Millneck School for the Deaf, where they served as a Direct Support Professional. In 2021, they joined Hofstra University as an ASL Instructor. Currently, they are a Customer Support Specialist at Convo Communications.

Heather Garafola completed their Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from Keuka College between 2009 and 2013. Heather also holds a High School Diploma from Sachem East High School, which they earned between 2005 and 2009.
