Sacha Jackson

Sacha Jackson is a seasoned interpreter with extensive experience in sign language interpretation. Currently, Sacha serves as a Video Interpreter at Convo Communications since January 2023 and has been a Freelance Sign Language Interpreter for the Canadian Hearing Society since July 2016, providing services across various settings in Ontario, including mental health, medical, and business environments. Additionally, Sacha has worked as a Sign Language Interpreter in Ottawa and surrounding areas since August 2011 and previously held positions as a Video Relay Interpreter and VRS Scheduling Coordinator at SLIAO from September 2016 to December 2022. Sacha's experience also includes providing support to Deaf-Blind individuals as an Intervenor at Rotary Cheshire Homes and working with Sorenson Communications as a Video Relay Interpreter between May 2012 and August 2016. Sacha holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Interpreter Education from Blue Ridge Community College, completed in 2011.
