Derek Manuel is the CEO of ConvoSpark. Derek has over 10 years of experience in event planning and management. Derek has a deep understanding of the needs of event organizers and the challenges they face. Derek is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and stakeholders.

Derek co-founded ExpoGenie in 2013 and was responsible for its growth and development. ExpoGenie is a simple & modern event software that saves planners time and delivers an enhanced exhibitor experience. In 2017, Derek left ExpoGenie to join FreemanXP as Partner Relations Manager.

In 2010, Derek co-founded ConvoSpark LLC, a premium event technology company that offers software and services solutions to event organizers. From pre-show planning to onsite execution, ConvoSpark partners with its clients to deliver exceptional experiences for their attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and stakeholders. Derek served as Product Manager at Avenuesocial Inc. from 2008 to 2011.
