Rachel Sharples

Rachel Sharples is an experienced staff photographer currently working at the Conway Daily Sun since March 2021, where responsibilities include managing the photo department and overseeing the publication’s Instagram page. Previous roles include freelance reporting for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, covering local sports, and serving as a volunteer photo organizer at Anike Foundation Inc. Rachel has also gained experience as a package handler at UPS, a social media contributor for Cru, an intern at The Somerville Times, and a teaching assistant at Boston University. Rachel's early work as a staff photojournalist for The Daily Free Press and a student intern at the Cambridge Chronicle has further solidified a strong foundation in journalism and photography. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University College of Communication, completed in 2020.
