George Morris

George Morris currently serves as Vice President of Research Informatics and Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Cook Children's Health Care System, a position held since May 2022, where responsibilities include building a research informatics team and overseeing applications and systems for clinical trials. Prior roles include IT Architect at the University of California, Los Angeles, Deputy CIO and Associate Dean of Computing at UCLA Health, Associate CIO at Dartmouth College, and Director of Information Systems and Emerging Technology at Harvard University. George also has experience as CIO in both an educational district and a technology consulting firm, alongside leadership roles at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and Zycos Inc., focusing on IT and bioinformatics solutions. George holds an MBA from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics and a BS in Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire, complemented by executive education from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
