Lorrainea Williams

Lorrainea Williams is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety at Cook Children's Health Care System since May 2002. In this role, Lorrainea has been instrumental in enhancing medication safety through system-based changes, staff education, policy development, and error investigation. Lorrainea has also contributed to the field as a Medication Safety Consultant at the Institute of Safe Medication Practice from August 2014 to July 2023, focusing on improving patient safety and healthcare quality. Additionally, Lorrainea has academic experience as a pharmacology instructor at Texas Wesleyan University and began her career as a pharmacist intern at Walgreens.
