William Stigall

William Stigall serves as the Vice President and Chief Research Officer at Cook Children's Health Care System, where additional roles include Medical Director of the Human Research Protection Program and Physician Advisor. Since May 2018, William has also been practicing as a Pediatric Intensivist at Cook Children's Physician Network. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Medical Director at the Congenital Heart Surgery Unit at Medical City Children's and working as a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist with Pediatric Cardiac Intensivists of North Texas. Training includes a Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Children's Medical Center. Educational qualifications consist of an MD from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from The University of Dallas, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
