James Mendez

James Mendez is currently the Director of Policy at the Cook County Assessor's Office. Prior to this role, James held positions such as Director of Policy at the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation and Account Supervisor at Culloton + Bauer Luce. With a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, James has a solid background in policy analysis and budgeting, having also worked as a Budget Analyst at the City of Chicago and Policy Analyst at the Illinois State Senate Democratic Caucus. Additionally, James has experience as a Legislative Intern and Frontline Staff at various organizations during their academic years.
