Policy and Investigations

The Policy and Investigations team at the Cook County Assessor's Office is dedicated to ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the property assessment process. This team develops and implements policies, investigates compliance issues, and oversees valuation projects to ensure that property assessments are fair and accurate for the 1.8 million parcels in Cook County. They collaborate across departments to address challenges and optimize the mass appraisal system.
