Amanda Edelston Grasso, MPH, serves as the Chief Data Officer at Cook County Health since April 2022, following a tenure as Director of Business Intelligence from July 2013 to April 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist/Epidemiologist at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and as a Research Assistant at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare/NorthShore University Health System. Notably, during a CDC-funded study, Amanda played a key role in exceeding recruitment goals and achieving a high retention rate while managing data collection and participant coordination. Amanda holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
