Jennifer Brothers

Jennifer Brothers serves as the Executive Director of the Impact Fund & Community Services at Cook County Health since July 2023, leading the development of community-based behavioral health and substance use initiatives. With extensive experience in behavioral health, Jennifer has previously held positions such as Director of Behavioral Health at Cook County Department of Public Health, overseeing a significant budget and driving policy initiatives aimed at reducing health inequities. Additionally, Jennifer works as an Adjunct Faculty at DePaul University, providing education in health sciences research and public health. Academic qualifications include an ABD in Doctorate of Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Master of Public Health from Tulane University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Winthrop University. Previous roles include project coordination for HIV programs at The Johns Hopkins University and international health initiatives in South Africa, showcasing a strong commitment to community health and program development.
