Maeve Dixon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health and strategic initiatives. Since February 2019, Maeve has held several key positions at Cook County Health, currently serving as the Director of Projects and Strategic Initiatives, following roles as Senior Manager of Policy and Innovation and Program Coordinator. Prior to this, Maeve was a Research Assistant and Graduate Student at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2017 to August 2019, and also interned at the Illinois Perinatal Quality Collaborative under Northwestern University in 2018. Additional experience includes working as a Health Care Assistant at Planned Parenthood of Michigan and serving as an AmeriCorps Scholar Coach at the Schuler Scholar Program. Maeve holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History, International and Area Studies from Kalamazoo College.
