Annika Olson is an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office since August 2023, following a significant tenure at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where roles included Lead Student Ambassador and Student Ambassador. Annika's experience encompasses legal internships at gener8tor and the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, as well as clinical law work at the Family Court Clinic. In addition to legal roles, Annika has held various positions in marketing and content development, including work with kiar media and as a Senior Content Intern at the University of Kansas Memorial Corporation. Annika holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a B.G.S. in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Kansas, complemented by study abroad experience at the University of Leicester.

With more than 700 attorneys, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office is the second largest prosecutor's office in the nation. The CCSAO is responsible for the prosecution of all misdemeanor and felony crimes committed in Cook County, one of the largest counties in the United States. The CCSAO also serves as legal counsel for the government of Cook County and county office holders and employees, litigating Plaintiff and Defense oriented cases and providing legal counsel on a range of matters.
