Dean R. Andersen

Dean R. Andersen has extensive experience in operations management within the food production and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Interim Quebec Plant Manager and Operations Manager for Alberta at Cook It by Fresh Prep Foods Inc. since July 2024, Dean supports operations in Montreal and focuses on enhancing brand value. Previously, Dean held various roles at Fresh Prep Foods Inc. from February 2020 to July 2024, including Interim Plant Manager in Vancouver and Operations Manager in Calgary, where strategic onboarding of new management and operational support were key responsibilities. Prior to Fresh Prep, Dean worked at TC Transcontinental for nearly two decades, progressing from Manager of Operations to Plant Manager across multiple locations, where strategic growth and process improvements were successfully implemented. Dean's educational background includes postgraduate certificates in Leadership and Management Development from the University of Calgary, along with certifications in Lean Manufacturing, quality improvement processes, and frontline leadership.
