Valerie Hourigan

Valerie Hourigan has extensive experience in laboratory analysis, having held positions at multiple organizations since 2008. Currently serving as a Laboratory Analyst II at Cook Medical since June 2012, Valerie is responsible for data analysis review, COA release, external raw material testing scheduling, and troubleshooting lab equipment, among other duties. Previous roles include Laboratory Analyst-Intermediate at Abbott Vascular, where drug release and solvent analysis were primary responsibilities, and Scientist 1 at Cordis Cashel Ireland Johnson & Johnson, focusing on finished product and in-process testing, as well as training team members. Earlier career experience includes working as a QC Chemist at Alza Ireland Johnson & Johnson, performing chemical analyses, and as an EHS Assistant at Lufthansa Technik, managing waste documentation and monitoring environmental compliance. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Limerick.
