After spotting a gap in the market for home-cooked food that could easily be delivered to people’s homes through a simple mobile app., Dinesh launched Cook My Grub with his Co-founder Shabbir Mookhtiar, in 2020. Currently, it is the leading UK marketplace to offer authentic, home-made cuisines that cannot be found on the high street. Prior to entering the food tech industry, Dinesh built a career in corporate and commercial strategy, leading teams in the telecoms, media and tech industries. Over his 18 years of experience, Dinesh has worked with corporate telecoms giants including Dixons Carphone PLC. and Telefonica O2, as well as start-ups including SurgEase Innovation Ltd., where he led the finance and operations teams, while driving investment of over £2.25m into the business. As a firm believer in driving strategic innovation, transformation and efficiency, Dinesh has a proven track record in scaling businesses. Through Cook My Grub, Dinesh’s ambition is to build healthier, happier, and wealthier communities across the UK.
