Neil O'Brien

Neil O'Brien is an R&D Engineer I specializing in bench testing at Cook Research Incorporated since August 2022. Previously, O'Brien served as a Process Quality Engineer at Michelin from May 2021 to August 2022 and completed a mechanical engineering internship at Fort Wayne Metals in the summer of 2020. During the internship, O'Brien achieved significant improvements, including reducing press machine setup time and enhancing accuracy in production run time estimates through Excel tools. O'Brien also gained experience as an R&D and Quality Engineering intern at Airvac - Vacuum Technology Systems in 2019, where AutoCAD was utilized for designing test stations. Earlier work at Pool City, Inc., involved pool construction and servicing. O'Brien earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Trine University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Device Development at Purdue University.
