Susan Hawley began their work experience in 1979 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, where they served as a Director. In 2004, they became the Director of the Emergency Department at the same organization. In 2009, they moved to Chesapeake General Hospital, where they worked as the Director of Risk Management and Compliance Officer. Since 2015, they have been the Administrative Director of Risk Management and Patient Experience at CRMC.
Susan Hawley has a Master's degree in Health Care Legal from Purdue Global Law School, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from South University from 2007 to 2009.
