Fredrik Meltzer

Fredrik Meltzer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic initiatives, management, and consultancy in the maritime and shipping industries. Currently serving as the Head of Strategic Initiatives at Cool Company Ltd since July 2022, Fredrik previously held significant roles such as Head of Strategy and Change at Golar LNG and Independent Consultant at VKH AS. Notable contributions include involvement in establishing a new technical management structure for a leading cruise corporation and defining digitalization specifications for innovative cruise ships during a tenure as Partner at PROPEL AS. As Director of DNV Maritime Solutions, Fredrik improved operational efficiency for shipping companies and managed a fleet project in Malaysia. Fredrik's career began with a research role at SINTEF, and foundational military training was completed in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Fredrik holds a Master of Science in Maritime from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
