Charles O.

Charles O. has over 17 years of work experience in various roles related to information security and IT management. Charles currently holds the position of Vice President, Global Information Security (CISO) at GAN since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head Of Information Security (CISO) at Coolbet from October 2019. Charles also worked as a Lead Consultant at Deep I.T. Solutions from August 2018 to September 2019. Before that, they were the Manager, IT Security at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) from May 2011 to August 2018. Charles O. also held the position of Head, Network & Systems at FirstCentral Credit Bureau Limited from 2008 to 2011 and worked as a Network Engineer at Contec Global Limited from 2005 to 2008.

Charles O. has an extensive education history. Charles obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from the Estonian Business School, where they studied until 2022. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Before their postgraduate studies, Charles earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Abuja, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.

In addition to their formal degrees, Charles also holds several certifications. In 2007, they achieved the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification from CWNP and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Furthermore, Charles holds certifications in different areas of cybersecurity, including ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and ISO 27032 Lead Cyber Security Manager, all from PECB.
