Geoffrey Spolyar

Geoffrey Spolyar is currently a Partner at Cooley LLP, having previously served as Special Counsel at the firm from 2016 to 2022. Prior to this, Geoffrey was Assistant Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Kirin-Amgen, Inc. from 2014 to 2016, and spent 14 years at Amgen Inc. from 2002 to 2016 as Senior Counsel, where they facilitated mergers, acquisitions, and licensing agreements. Geoffrey began their legal career as a Corporate Transactional Attorney at O'Melveny & Myers from 1996 to 2002, after earning a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Southern California Law School in 1996 and a BA in History and Japanese from the University of Michigan in 1992.
