Cherie Rivers

Cherie Rivers has been a projectionist for over 10 years. Cherie began their career at the Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation in July of 2017. Cherie then worked at IMAX for a short time before moving to the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA). In March of 2019, they began working as a service and project coordinator for Boston Light and Sound Inc. Cherie has also worked as a booth liaison for the Turner Classic Film Festival and as a contractor for Boston Light & Sound. In May of 2017, they worked at the Sedona International Film Festival. Cherie has also worked at the Museum of Science in Boston and the Telluride Film Festival.

Cherie Rivers has a BA in Broadcast Communications from Western Washington University.

Their manager is Thomas Welch, Lead Projectionist. Cherie Rivers works with Wesley Hicks - Projectionist, Erin Gilmour - Projectionist, and Herb Kelley - Projectionist.
