Thorsteinn G. Gunnarsson

Thorsteinn G. Gunnarsson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Thorsteinn G. is currently the Business Owner at North Ventures Iceland, a development company focused on green energy and circularity of resources. Prior to this, they were the CEO of TG Consulting and held the role of CEO at Opin Kerfi from 2015 to 2019. Thorsteinn G. also served as the Chairman of the Board at Icelandic Startups and Advania, and as Executive Chairman at Cooori. Thorsteinn G. Gunnarsson has extensive experience in business development, strategy, funding, government relations, and general management.

Thorsteinn G. Gunnarsson completed their education in a chronological order beginning in 1984 when they attended the University of Iceland. Thorsteinn G. successfully obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering, known as Cand. Scient., after studying for four years from 1984 to 1988. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Washington from 1990 to 1992 to pursue a Master of Science (MSc). During this time, their area of focus was systems and advanced control theory, specifically modeling.
