John Stegner

John Stegner currently serves as the Director of Development at COOP in New York City, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, John was the Senior Development Manager for the National Organization on Disability from December 2022 to October 2024, and previously worked as the Development Manager for NAF from August 2019 to December 2022. In that role, John successfully raised over $3M from new and lapsed institutional donors and facilitated grants exceeding $10M through strategic outreach and proposal development for major organizations. John's earlier experience includes progressive roles at Palgrave Macmillan, where responsibilities involved commissioning works in public policy and managing editorial processes, showcasing strong skills in communication and project management. John holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in English Literature and Prose Writing from the University of Virginia.
