An De Naeyer has a strong background in innovation and business development within the consumer health industry. An is currently working as the Global Head of Innovation and Business Development at Cooper Consumer Health, where they are responsible for implementing a global innovation process and governance. An also focuses on the development and licensing of new products in various categories, including food supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, herbal medicines, and OTC drugs. Prior to their current role, An worked as the Head of Innovation and Business Development at Vemedia Consumer Health Group, where they were involved in developing and licensing new innovations and defining an innovation strategy plan for core product categories. Before that, they served as the Global Head of Innovation and Business Development at Omega Pharma NV. An has also worked as a Responsible Pharmacist at Similia NV and as a Project Manager at Pharmaceutical Services Inc. An started their career as the owner of ADN Innovative Solutions bv.

An De Naeyer completed their education at Ghent University. From 1994 to 1999, they pursued a degree in Pharmacy, although the field of study is unspecified. Following this, they went on to pursue a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1999 to 2004. An'sPhD focused on the field of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry and was conducted at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Laboratory of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry.
