Astrid Zweistra

Astrid Zweistra has extensive work experience in the legal field. Astrid is currently the Head of International Legal Affairs at Cooper Consumer Health since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Aegon as a Legal Counsel/Lawyer from December 2016 to October 2022. During their time at Aegon, they also served as the Deputy Company Secretary a.i. from February 2018 to June 2018. Astrid also worked at Transamerica briefly on assignment from October 2017 to December 2017. Before joining Aegon, they worked at Jones Day as a Lawyer from September 2013 to November 2016. Astrid's earlier experience includes working as a Jr. Legal Counsel at Travix International for a few months in 2013 and as a Trainee at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for a short period in 2011. Astrid also undertook internships at Loyens & Loeff and Ebbinge & Company. Astrid began their career as a Trainee at De Loos & Schrijver Advocaten and also volunteered as a Legal Volunteer at FairWork.

Astrid Zweistra began their education at Willem van Oranje from 2001 to 2006, where the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.
