Jon Iwata is an accomplished leader in the fields of ethics, technology, and stakeholder innovation, currently serving as Executive Chair and Founding Executive Director of Data & Trust Alliance since September 2020. In addition to this role, Iwata is a Tech Ethics and Policy Mentor at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society at Stanford University and holds positions as Practice Leader, Lecturer, and Executive Fellow at the Yale Program on Stakeholder Innovation and Management. Iwata is also an Advisory Board Member at Responsible Innovation Labs, a Board Member at The Center for Global Enterprise, and a Lecturer and Executive in Residence at Yale School of Management. Other significant roles include serving as a Board of Directors member for the LPGA, a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Yale Center for Customer Insights, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Iwata graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from San José State University in 1984.
