Chris Harris

Chris (C.J.) Harris is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical design and new product development. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Cooper Lighting Solutions since March 2020, Chris is responsible for the mechanical design of node lighting controls products, including plastics design, rapid prototyping, and thermal analysis. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Eaton and Senior Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., where Chris led new product development for generator packages. With a solid foundation in project management and program development from the US Air Force, along with experience as an Applications Engineer and Production Engineer intern, Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University and additional education from Boston University.
