Jennifer Barr

Jennifer Barr is a partner at Cooper Levenson, Attorneys at Law, where the focus is on appeals and research since January 2017. Previously, Barr served as an adjunct professor at Stockton University, teaching courses on argument and persuasion in the social sciences from September 2015 to December 2016. From September 2002 to December 2016, Barr practiced as a sole practitioner attorney, specializing in criminal and civil appeals, post-conviction relief appeals, and termination of parental rights appeals. Earlier experience includes working as an attorney in personal injury litigation and appeals at Ross & Rubino from September 1999 to December 2002, and serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven Z. Kleiner in the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of NJ from September 1998 to August 1999. Barr holds a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School (1998) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan (1992).
