Temesgen Taye

Temesgen Taye is a seasoned professional in the field of information security, currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security at Cooperative Bank of Oromia since September 2016. In this role, Temesgen leads the strategic development and management of the bank's information security management system, ensuring compliance with regulations and the protection of critical assets. Temesgen's extensive experience includes previous positions such as Director of IS Security Management, Acting Director of Core Systems, and Manager of Information Systems Security, along with initial roles as a System Analyst, Network Administrator, and Database Administrator. Earlier career experience includes a position as an IT Professional specializing in Network Security at the Information Network Security Administration (INSA). Temesgen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and IT from Arba Minch University, completed in 2008.
