Javier Perez

Javier Perez has a diverse work experience in the field of global strategy, programs, and missions. Javier currently holds the position of Director of Global Strategy and Programs - Global Missions at Cooperative Baptist Fellowship since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Partner at Axiom Global Development Partners starting from December 2018.

Javier also gained significant experience at Buckner International, where they held various roles such as Regional Director of Strategic Initiatives & Economic Strengthening from December 2018 to January 2021, Director of Missions and Poverty Alleviation from March 2016 to January 2019, and Director of National Missions and Humanitarian Aid from January 2015 to January 2016. Javier also served as the Manager of National Missions and Humanitarian Aid from January 2013 to January 2015 and as a Senior Missions Coordinator from October 2011 to January 2013.

Before joining Buckner International, Javier worked at Woodland Baptist Church in San Antonio, TX, as part of the Missions and Community Ministries team from August 2010 to September 2011.

Javier Perez has a diverse education history. Javier completed their Certified Project Management Professional - Development Sector program at PMD Pro in 2018. Before that, they earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2017. Prior to their master's degree, Javier obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Baptist University of the Americas in 2011. Javier'searliest degree was a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Fundacion Universitaria Bautista in Cali, Colombia, which they completed in 2008.
