Francesca S. currently serves as a Cooperative Leaders and Scholars (CLS) Fellow at the Cooperative Development Foundation and as a Program Officer for the Rural Climate Partnership, focusing on sustainable job development in rural communities. Francesca is also pursuing a PhD in Anthropology and Social Change at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where Francesca engages in activist research and social justice initiatives. Previous roles include Program Officer and Assistant Program Officer at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a Worker Cooperative Developer intern at the California Center for Cooperative Development, and various positions advocating for economic justice and workers' rights at organizations such as the American Friends Service Committee and the National Employment Lawyers Association. Francesca holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Anthropology and a Master's in Visual Anthropology, and has completed additional certifications in economic development and community organization.
