Dr. Carla Westbrook-Spaniel

Dr. Carla Westbrook-Spaniel is an accomplished educational professional with extensive experience in leadership, training, and consultation within various educational contexts. Currently serving as a Professional Services Contractor for Cooperative Educational Services since August 2015, Dr. Westbrook-Spaniel provides training on Section 504 and Social Emotional Learning across New Mexico school districts. Previous roles include Educational Consultant for Leaps for Schools, Interim Superintendent for Mora Independent Schools, and Educational Consultant for Westbrook LLC, where responsibilities included coaching, resource planning, and curriculum development. With a solid foundation in academic leadership as a Campus Administrator in both FWISD and Tulsa Public Schools, Dr. Westbrook-Spaniel has also contributed to higher education as an Adjunct Professor at Tarleton State University and served as a Graduate Assistant at New Mexico State University. Dr. Westbrook-Spaniel holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Teaching.
