Michelle Galarza Mealing

Michelle Galarza Mealing has extensive work experience in human resources, with a focus on leadership and management roles. Michelle was most recently the Sr. Director of Human Resources at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, where they led the HR team and created plans to support the company's growth. Prior to this, they held various senior director positions at Walmart, both in the US and Mexico, where they were responsible for analyzing business aspects, developing market solutions, and leading HR shared services. Michelle also has experience in recruiting, both at Walmart and other companies such as Yazmin Entreprises, Inc and Wal-Mart Puerto Rico.

Michelle Galarza Mealing earned a Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, between 1992 and 1997. Michelle pursued a Master of Business Administration program at EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, Michelle obtained a certification in Business Ontological Coaching from Newfield Consulting, completing the program in 2021.
