Matt Walter

Matt Walter is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as a Senior Principal Controls Engineer at CooperVision since November 2013, where responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and technical stewardship on a global platform. Previous roles include Principal Controls Engineer and Senior Controls Engineering, focusing on the development and implementation of monitoring and control software for production lines. Prior to CooperVision, Matt Walter worked as an Automation Engineer at ICS Robotics and Automation Ltd., handling the electro-mechanical build and setup of robotic welding cells, and as a Maintenance Engineer at Pall Corporation, managing the electrical maintenance of automated assembly equipment. Matt Walter began his career as an Apprentice Automation Technician at TE Connectivity, developing chemical dosing systems and high-speed Vision Systems. Matt Walter holds an HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from North Devon College and completed GCSEs at Bideford College.
