Percy Lazon de la Jara

Percy Lazon de la Jara is a highly experienced professional in the field of optometry and clinical research, currently serving as Director of Research Programs and Principal Clinical Scientist at CooperVision since January 2016. In addition, Percy holds the position of Senior Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales. Previous roles include Program Leader at Brien Holden Vision Ltd Pty and Head of Clinical Research at Brien Holden Vision Institute, where Percy developed research strategies and managed clinical studies. With a strong foundation in project management from the Institute for Eye Research, experiences also include roles as a Research Optometrist and Contact Lens Teacher in various educational and clinical settings in Peru. Percy earned a PhD in Refractive Surgery from UNSW and holds degrees in Optometry.
