Soc. Katty Piedad Perez Pauta is an experienced social professional with a background in sociology and extensive work in humanitarian and community-focused projects. Currently serving as the Humanitarian Corridor South WASH Technician at COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale since July 2023, responsibilities include developing monitoring routes, implementing water management strategies, and supporting health and hygiene workshops. Previous roles include independent consulting, social promotion, and community relations with Fundación Esquel, as well as involvement with several organizations in the fields of social auditing, environmental consultancy, and electoral coordination in Ecuador. Educational credentials include a degree in Sociology from Universidad Técnica de Machala, obtained in 2012.
