Sharon Bowen-Smith

Sharon Bowen-Smith is an experienced professional in the human services field, currently serving as the Commissioning Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs at COORDINARE - South Eastern NSW PHN since March 2022. Prior to this role, Sharon has held positions such as Human Services Manager as a self-employed professional, Director of Health and Mental Health Services at Katungul Aboriginal Corporation, and Head of Services at LiveBetter Community Services. With a strong background in operations management at Grand Pacific Health and extensive experience in policy and program management within the Australian Government, including roles as Director of Policy and Programs, Sharon has developed expertise in budget management, personnel management, and cross-government consultation. An active leader in the Australian Association of Social Workers, Sharon has contributed significantly to mental health leadership, financial management, and policy development. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Social Work from UNSW Australia.
