Zaid Baban

Zaid Baban has held a variety of roles in the past 9 years. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Technical Project Manager at Walgreens, a Site Engineer (Contractor) at ExamSoft Worldwide, Inc., an IT Technician (Robert Half Technology Contractor) at MAC Property Management, and an Interpreter (Contractor) at Ready Made Staffing. During this same period, they were also a Sr. Service Operations Engineer at Nokia and HERE, where they provided technical support for Fortune500 clients and optimized and implemented HERE IT environment and systems for customers. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Associate Partner at A-Z Consulting Group and a CoFounder at CooZyn. In 2013, they also became the Chairman of the Board at Iraqi Mutual Aid Society (IMAS).

Zaid Baban has a comprehensive educational background. Zaid began their studies in 2000, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Software Engineering from the University of Technology in 2004. Zaid then continued their studies at the New York Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2006, followed by a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2008. In addition, Zaid has obtained certifications in HashiCorp Vault (Linux Academy, 2020), Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate (Amazon Web Services (AWS), 2019), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Amazon Web Services, 2018), IBM Blockchain Essentials (IBM, 2018), Lean Six Sigma - White Belt (HERE, a Nokia company, 2014), HashiCorp Certified: Consul Associate (HashiCorp, 2022), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (HashiCorp, 2021), HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate (HashiCorp, 2021), and Try Git (Code School).
