David Garcia

David Garcia has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and software engineering. David began their career at Mobil Oil as a Business Application Supervisor, providing support for JDEdwards World Software. David then moved on to ExxonMobil as an IT Base Operation Head, where they re-engineered the IT organization and implemented outsourcing models, leading to improved response time and customer satisfaction. David later joined Johnson & Johnson as the IT Services Delivery Head for Central America, Caribbean, and Venezuela, where they developed operational best practices and disaster recovery plans. Currently, David Garcia is the Director of Software and Data Engineering at Copa Airlines, where they have implemented process re-engineering, modernization initiatives, and a Mobile Center of Competence, improving service delivery capability. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on cost-cutting, process improvement, and project management.

David Garcia has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Venezuela Job, which they obtained from 1996 to 2001. David also completed a non-degree program in MBA at Universidad Santa Maria from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, they attended the IESA Managerial Development Program in 2007 and the Management Leadership Program at ADEN Business School in 2013, both focusing on Business Administration and Management. David has obtained multiple certifications in various fields such as Cloud Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Software Architecture, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
