Maria de Los Angeles Salazar

Maria De Los Angeles Salazar is a seasoned tax and corporate accounting professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as Sr Manager of Tax and Corporate Accounting at Copa Airlines since May 2015, Maria oversees various tax functions, including corporate, indirect, and aviation taxes, as well as transfer pricing and SOX reporting. Additionally, Maria holds the position of Gerente de Impuestos Corporativos at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and is a member of the IATA Tax Working Group. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Tax Manager at KPMG in Venezuela, where responsibilities encompassed tax audits and advisory services for diverse clients. Maria holds a Master's degree in Financial and Tax Law and a Licentiate degree in Accounting, both from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
