Samuel Valdes is an experienced professional currently serving as the Operational Intelligence Coordinator at Copa Airlines since September 2021. In this role, Samuel oversees the construction and management of scheduled block times, essential for maintaining an on-time network and enhancing client satisfaction. Additionally, Samuel leads a fuel efficiency program utilizing analytics to reduce costs and spearheads the development of real-time decision support tools for daily operations. Previously, as a Data Scientist in the Pricing and Revenue Management Intelligence team, Samuel developed machine learning models aimed at maximizing revenue and optimizing passenger impact during schedule changes.
