Clinical Care Extender at COPE Health Solutions

Valerie Jocson has held a variety of roles in the past five years. In 2016, they began their career as a Pharmacy Intern at Adventist Health, where they gained insight into the role of a hospital pharmacist and used a computerized system for data entry of research drugs. In 2019, they joined LEO Club International as the Social Media Director and Secretary, and also served as a Community Volunteer, helping to distribute glasses to those in need, cook meals for families in poverty, give school supplies to children, prepare baskets with home goods for families in need, and distribute health kits and supplies for the homeless during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, they became the Symphony Orchestra Librarian at California State University, Fullerton, where they were in charge of the preparation and distribution of the CSUF University Symphony's music for every concert cycle, and assisted the University Symphony conductor Kimo Furumoto in outreach and recruitment to CSUF School of Music. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Clinical Care Extender (CCE) at COPE Health Solutions, where they work with nurses, CNAs, and physicians in providing clinical care to patients in a hospital setting.

Valerie Jocson attended RENAISSANCE ARTS ACADEMY from 2015 to 2019, where they earned their High School Diploma. Valerie is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, General from California State University, Fullerton, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
