Christine Carney

Christine Carney, MBA, JD, currently serves as Chief Legal Officer at Copeland, where notable achievements include the successful spin-off of Emerson's climate technologies platform to Blackstone and the establishment of a global legal team. Prior to this role, Christine held various positions at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, including Senior Associate General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed leading legal support for digital technology and commercial negotiations, as well as managing complex real estate transactions. With a strong academic background, including a JD and an MBA from Saint Louis University, and experience as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dayton School of Law, Christine has contributed significantly to legal education and practice, particularly in the realms of IoT and environmental law.
