Jesper Kjaer

Jesper Kjaer serves as the Head of Development Projects and Programme Manager at Copenhagen Airports A/S since January 2017, leading the implementation of advanced baggage handling systems and facilities. Previous experience includes overseeing maintenance operations at RIOgaleão – Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim, managing a range of electro-mechanical systems, and project management for Heathrow's Terminal 2 baggage system. At Copenhagen Airports, Jesper led a department focused on baggage handling automation, and earlier roles included coordinating electrical maintenance for A.P. Moller - Maersk Group vessels and engineering operations for the Ariane 5 launcher. Jesper Kjaer holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and advanced degrees in Control Engineering and Automation from ESIEE Paris and Aalborg University, respectively.
