Yan Yang is the current head of ICT investments China & Blockchain at Copenhagen Capacity. Yan has also worked as a project consultant, director, international project consultant and manager, and researcher and developer.

Yan Yang began their career as a project consultant at the Confucius Institute in October 2012. In this role, they provided consulting services to Copenhagen Business School. Yan held this position until March 2013.

In July 2013, Yang became the director of Huaian-Nordic Industrial Investment Promotion Center. In this role, they were responsible for providing strategic planning and daily support to Nordic enterprises interested in doing business in Huaian. Yan held this position until July 2015.

From April 2013 to April 2015, Yang worked as an international project consultant and manager at One Stop Advice. In this role, they provided consulting services to clients interested in doing business in China.

Yang’s most recent role was as a researcher and developer at the Sino-Danish Center for Research in Work and Learning. In this role, they conducted research on Chinese workers and their learning habits. Yan held this position from September 2016 until their current role at Copenhagen Capacity.

Yan Yang has a Doctor of Philosophy in Humanities from Roskilde University, a Master's in Education from East China Normal University, and a Bachelor's in Computer and Telecommunications from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Yan also has a certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy.
