Robert Firmhofer

Chief Executive Officer at Copernicus Science Centre

Robert Firmhofer is the Chief Executive Officer of Copernicus Science Centre since 2006, where leadership has focused on promoting science education and engagement. Previously, Firmhofer served as Past President of Ecsite, the European Network of Science Centers and Museums, from 2011 to 2013, and held the role of Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Warsaw from 2004 to 2006, leading the development of Poland's first science centre. Additionally, Firmhofer was the Science Editor in Chief and Deputy Director General at Polish Radio S.A. from 1997 to 2006, overseeing a team dedicated to science communication across national public radio channels. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Philosophy from Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie and postgraduate studies in Philosophy at Cairo University.
